Scanned some expired Tmax 3200 I shot in 2006 at the GBH show in Orlando, FL. I remember this girl telling me “It’s too dark in here. Your photos are going to look like shit.” I simply smiled and thanked her for her statement. I wasn’t shooting for perfection. I was shooting to shoot GBH. I think the singer used the word “Faggot” and we were all super bummed. I wish I had a better memory. I do remember the vegan hot dog stand and how infamous it is to this day. Why aren’t there any photographs of my chili cheese dog on this roll?
While searching for inspiration, I came across some negatives from early 2010 and decided to spend some time scanning them. I want to do some darkroom printing as well, as I find many of the images to be quite lovely.
